T25 1.7 Lucas diesel filter housing needed.

Post by tricky »

Hi all, Does any one on here know where I can get a new Lucas diesel filter housing for my 1990 1.7 Type 25? or what part # it is? I think this is the part needed to stop my van from smoking, I'm getting loads of air bubbles in the fuel pipe, I have changed everything else from the tank to the pump. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Rich.

Why not put the proper filter back on?

This one
Sounds like someone has had a problem in the past, thought it was the filter and retro bodged a Lucas filter head and filter on there.
Is it the one with the manual lift pump?
