Blowing fuses when using the front heater??
Another heater question.
running a diesel 1Y and the cab heater under the dash never worked. Took the dash out and checked the heater motor wasn't siezed, which it wasn't, so repaired the earth wire on the earth block under the dash, which seemed a bit fried. Now, things worked perfectly till the other day when using the wipers and the heater the fuse blow. Replaced the fuse thinking it was a leak hitting the earth block which it wasn't, and now it still doing it. this time i just left the heater running and after about 30 seconds it blow again!!
Does anybody know what to start checking to resolve the problem? All the earth conectors on the earth block were cleaned and tightened before the dash went back in.
Any ideas peeps??

Good call Skell.
when you mentioned checking the switch, what am i looking for with the multimeter? Already checked it when i thought the blower was broken, and all settings seemed to be right. Am i looking for an increase in voltage or something?
The heater decided to blow the fuse without the wipers on yesterday, and the wipers were running 100% before hand, so i'm thinking all the probs lay with the heater and wireing to the thing.
Will get the dash out tomorrow hopefully and see whats what

Well you will have a nice new windscreen - make sure you ask for one with a green sun filter strip across the top... I did ... and it is very useful!
