Hi,

The silver one has a exchange engine with 40.000km.
ATM stands for AusTauchsMotor which means exchange engine which has now 40.000km on the clock.
Has some nice options including the big sliding roof!

Silver one looks nice and has a good interior.

First blue one looks OK and very straight

Second blue one is a 14" with 16" tyres, which I wouldn't see as justifying the increased price over the first blue one.

Judging by how they look (and this probably sounds a little odd) the first and last ones are likely to have working diff-locks but the middle one won't, unless it specifically says so in the text.

I'd be going for the silver one... Mainly because the large sliding sunroofs are just absolutely lovely.

Well now Mr Big, that's interesting you should ask whether it's possible to tell whether a VC is running open or closed from a picture. Sadly you can't but it is actually possible to tell whether a VC is good or bad from the smell of a van and sometimes the owner, actually.

For anyone who's seen more than a couple of Syncros, those which have been used off road are the ones that have working diff-locks, as they have been used. Those that have just been running around on the roads where the difflocks aren't needed have likely fallen to bi-metallic corrosion (steel pin/alloy sleeve) and the lockers won't work.

So, nice straight van on road tyres = likely to need more work than a slightly battered one on off road tyres.

Isn't inference a great thing.
