Zig charging problems

This is the unit i have and the charge light does not come on when plugged into 240v. Have checked the obvious like the RCD etc but no charge. tested leisure battery with it plugged in to the mains and without and no differece.
Any ideas

There will be a fuse for the charging circuit, usually placed on the front panel but could well be behind the front panel on yours. There may even be two, one for the primary side of the transformer as well. The RCD usually has two isolation switches, one for the fridge, the other for the ZIG. Check the fridge works on mains, if you have the handbook - check to see where any fuses may be located. There should also be a thermal overload switch but that should re-set automatically. A multimeter may be your only alternative to isolate the problem.

Well this seems to be the other half of the setup and it does'nt seem to be charging.
Where can i get it tested and fixed?
There is a small light nent to the on/off switch that is not working. Have tested the switch and that seems fine.
It doesn't seem the easiest thing in the world to get into.
