water pump (?) mystery

Post by j_robi »

last night went to make a cup of tea to warm the belly, nothing came out of the tap
(yes there is water!!)
thought id leave it and sort it out in the morning, so in the morning i try the tap and water comes out fine
then 30 mins later try it again, nothing, no pump noise
does it sound like the pump has died? is the pump just the digerydo at the end of the pipe?
cheers

what sort of tap have you.mine has a microswitch inside the bit you turn.every now and then i have to pull the turning bit off.and give the switch a squirt of wd40...you can get a replacement submersible pump from you local caravan accessory shop should you need one....
