Big Bumper Removal!

Post by squarepants »

Before I knacker something or injure myself further, how does a front "big bumper" come off? Is it straight forward? Or (as usua) will I find that I need need the dexterity of a piano player as opposed to the "all thumbs and fat fingers" that I have been blessed with. :?

quite simple really, undo the 2 hex bolts at the front, then there are 2 brackets underneath, at either side, you will need to remove the front to sections of the spoiler aswell if you have one.

If everything comes off ok its only a 5 minute job, I did have some stubborn screws on the spoiler though.

hello Ash. (yep the front0 Thanks for that. My front bolts come out OK, and if it is only the bracket underneath then should be OK. I do have a front spoiler so will remove also. Doesn't solve the fat fingers though!

Thanks again!
