Caster and Camber

Post by windysurfer »

I need to get this reset as the inner edge of both front tyres is bald. (you can see the thread on the drivers side)

I don't think it was altered after the van was lowered. (dropped -50)

Is it something I can get done anywhere (ATS?)
My normal tyre fitter can only do the tracking.

Can anyone recommend somewhere in Lancashire (the closer to Blackburn the better)

cheers

Windy

I would get it booked in at Baxters Garage (Brickwerks) in Huddersfield, he does know what he`s doing. Only a short hop from Blackburn. The fast-fit type people won`t have a clue, and you`ll be lucky if your VW dealer has much more idea either, they don`t "do" old vans anymore.

If it wasn`t done after the 50mm drop, it will be well out, you`ll be needing new tyres I would think.

I had thought of going there but he's off work at the minute and I could do with it doing before next weekend as I going away. I don't really want to put new tyres on and then scrub them to death before Baxters back at work.

Not to sure how quick they would wear though

I could just change the tyres and wait if no one can recommend anywhere

Someone may correct me but that tyre is still road legal.
