Rubber mating, Front & back. Anyone found any?

Post by KarlT »

I'd like to put rubber (ohhh madam!) through out. Anyone done this? Was it an optional extra from VW?

Any thoughts?

No an exact answer but I did find some huge rubber mats in Aldi that were ideal for rear loading area.

the stuff machine mart sells is good, but quite expensive, got a roll from an auction of returned stuff im planning on doing the rear floor area with, 3mm thick rubber, with raised circles about 10 pence diameter if that makes sense! a full 10m roll should be about 80 quid, but i think they sell it by the mtr. 1mtr wide off the roll.

Your `van will stink of rubber for ever  I used a roll of that rubber matting to line the bottom of my boat, that was over 2 years ago, and it STILL stinks every time I take the boat cover off to use it  I doesn`t seem to want to get rid of its rubber smell.
Keep it real.
