torque'ing heads

Post by nelly »

just finished a rebuild on my 2ltr CU engine and a while after the first fire up an oil leak has appeared, looks to me to be coming from barrel to case on no1 somewhere. is it ok to tighten the head to see if it cures it, or could it be something else? ( the heads were touqued to the correct spec and in the correct order ). as a first timer, i'm not sure.
