Right. I tried this before and completely stuffed up the system! I am going to try again tomorrow. I want a pic in my avatar. I think that is the right "expression". You know, a little pic on the left hand side of my postings. I got a pic in mind in photobucket. How the Hell do I do it without stuffing up again. Simple laymans terms please!
Ta mateys!

Take your chosen image/ photo back out of photobucket, using any image programme you have re-size it to 80x80 pixels then up-loaded it back into photobucket .

Then when you are prompted, use the bottom code to paste into the avatar section of your profile.

Bloody heck and theres me thinking you are after a rude picture or summat,,,,,,,,,,,

[img:99:75]http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/dd87 ... M0015a.jpg[/img]

Now right click on the picture of the hound,,,,,,,this will then open up a dialouge box, go to bottom option (properties),and click again to open the properties box,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, then highlight the address and
then copy the image code which starts with http/.

Paste this on to your image prompt.

Bingo, Bobs yer uncle

Regards

go to microsoft free dowload tools , there is a picture resizing program. When you download it, it intregrates itself into your software. Then to open put your mouse pointer onthe digifile that you want to re-size and right mouseclick & scroll down to resize picture, dialogue box pops up offering set sizes or custom advanced. click on the advanced & type in 80 80 & the pic will then be saved (as another file) which youthen upload using the browse box in 80-90 profile

see ya

Meggles,
Here is your image resized to 80X60 pixels. Thats the nearest I can do keeping the aspect ratio the same.
I copied it from your earlier post, resized it and uploaded it onto my page with Photobucket. You should be able to copy and paste it to your desktop and then upload it to your Photobucket page. (I think!)

[IMG:80:61]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s88/ ... eggles.jpg[/img]
Give it a try, I will leave it on my Photobucket until you are sorted.
Love the name 'Meggles' by the way. The people opposite call me 'Biggles' cause I used to do a bit of flying.
Image code if you need it is http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s88/ ... eggles.jpg Just put after the .jpg and you will have the image on your profile (If I remember correctly)
Too late as usual, glad you are sorted.

Yeah, done it at last!!!! :D
Changed my mind about pic.
Who's a clever boy?
Thanks for all prompts you lot.
BTW, my 80-90 name was borrowed from the black dog in the picture (Actually she's called Meg).
She's blind as a bat, I'm usually blind drunk. :trunk
Sadly the brown dog, Max, is no longer with us  . Bless him.
