Nope ...the Haflinger will keep on going when the Syncro is long since stuck ...the perfect expedition setup

To be fair, the Haflingers were never designed to be a mostly road going vehicle or a van for that matter ...they were designed for Austrian mountain farmers to replace or supplement their other "machinery" ...the horse of the same name.

And they did a brilliant job at that for little money.

They certainly aren't the worlds fastest road car, infact they top out around 35mph, but only if you've got the high speed gearbox! Over the years I think afew have been carted around in the back of a Syncro pickup, though I didn't think they'd fit in a Doka.

I'll get one one day, but not a poly cab, they look crap! They normally look like Mini Pinzgauers, which I think is pritty cool. A petrol Syncro is vertully the same vehicle built to an enlarged scale, with 2 extra pistons but no portals.
