Hi all and HELP!!
my 2000 25 81 runs ok on idle, but top speed is still bad at 55 max... :cry:
been mentioned to me this advance retrard stuff, should it be to/from both carbs, or just one (if so which one)??????

also the air cleaner top, with the pipes to the carbs coming out, should the spout at the rear go anywhere??

and lastly, the rest of the pipework behind/under the cleaner box, should that all be air tight, i really am stupid eh?? any help would be mega!!!! :D

May answer a few

The retard goes frm dizzy to rear pipework behind aircleaner box
also the air cleaner top, with the pipes to the carbs coming out, should the spout at the rear go anywhere?? Mines Blanked off Unless you mean the spout out of cleaner box to the rear of the Van which should be crank case breather pipe into case

and lastly, the rest of the pipework behind/under the cleaner box, should that all be air tight Yes

louey, thanks..

yes the air box spout towards the rear is going into the engine block (i presume the breather)
the one facing the front of the van is open (same diameter as breather)
shoud i block this up?? :?
