Unless some kind soul has already done it ... the bolts holding the tailpipe screw into threaded holes in the silencer flange which always break .... enjoy drilling them out  ... then drill them out slightly oversize (like 9mm for example) and use M8 x 30 bolts and nuts instead ... stainless if ya can get em.

or the easy way is to angle grind the nuts off take the old remaining flange piece off, leaving the 3 studs pokeing out without any thread, push the new tail pipe on to the studs bit of a spot weld on the top of each one and you are away..............

Some scrote tried to nick the tailpipe extender off my bay once. It was a chrome thingy that fixed onto the existing tailpipe. I had a single sportspack exhaust on the van, with no muffler and when revved it used to shoot flames out the back. Anyway i knew someone had tried to pull the extender off because when I got to my van and saw the tailpipe, there was a layer of burnt human skin adhered to it. So they badly burnt their hand and it serves them right! Made me happy anyway!
