ok question first.
if i break the little bolts holding the arches on can they be fixed easily or had i better not break them.
as for the world record surely 3.5 hours to strip a front hub and bottom arm must be a record. i thought i`d get it done in an hour but it took more than an hour to get the bottom shock bolt out.
how siezed........................................very
once thats done i have the other side to look forward to.

IME, those lower shock absorber bolts always must be driven out/in with a punch, as they're held in place by a strong spring steel sleeve.
If the fender flare studs snap off, you can either drill a suitable sized hole in the same place, and use a self-tapping screw from the inside, or if you want a more factory-like fix, drill-out a recess about 1/2"wide, and glue in a nylon number plate screw with the thread sticking out. I used a two-pack polyurethane glue for this. I think it's better to have the flares removable and not permanently bonded, in case of any panel damage and paint-repair being needed.
