The tyre size on is 205/70 R 14. I have 30 in the front and 36 in the back.

Thanks

The oracle according to Herr Volkswagen states that the pressure for tyres size: 205/75R14 are as follows:-

Front:2.1 Bars (30 psi) Rear:2.5 Bars (35 psi) Spare:2.5 Bars (35 psi).

Just out of curiosity what is the load rating on your tyres & what ply rating are they? Most camper owners have tyres rated 'C' for Commercial, fitted to their vehicles. :D

It should state the pressures on't passenger side door front pillar. From memory 185R14 commercials are 45 front and 55 back fully loaded ... which our's always is.

Young Mr.Hulley, Herr Volkswagen states in the oracle dated 7/83 that the tyre pressures for tyres size 185R14C are:-

Front:2.5 Bars (35 psi) Rear:3.3 Bars (47 psi) Spare:3.3 Bars (47 psi).

Curiously, no mention is made about increasing tyre pressures in accordance with the load being carried. It does seem logical that a camper carrying a gaggle of Hulleys, 28 cases of lager & the kitchen sink could possibly need a slight increase in the tyre pressures. :D

I love you Steve

Onkl VW says 43 and 53 on our pillar for 185's and 30 and 40 for the re-inforced low profiles.
