What sort of oil in a 1y engine?

What sort of oil in a 1y engine?

Hey all, what sort of oil goes into a 1y engine, is it the vw long life stuff or can it run on any run of the mill diesel oil?

I always stick in the VW recommended one from GSF.

However, i imagine if you change it regularly it wont matter as long as its 15/40...

Does not need anything fancy, just stick any 10/40 or 5/40 in.
