New Bus............Genuine VW alloys questions...Moved

Post by KarlT »

Hi All.

Have gone & done it again................

Gone & bought another T25. 1990, 2WD, Caravelle.

Nice base but needs some refining for what I want.

Auto-gearbox needs sorting. Running rich, Damn good clean inside, fix central-lockin, Oil leak so on & so on

So I'll be busy on the Tech pages again. But while I'm here........

Been lowered but.......
I'm wanting to improve ride quality I'm thinking to put OEM spec alloys, springs & dampers back on it. Is the best place still VW? Or are there other firms with as good a quality but lower prices? Are caravelle lower than normal vans anyhow? What spec/sizes should I be looking at? Anywhere I can see photos of different types?

Sorry for the ramble.
