SOME TIMES IT CLICKS

Post by Scooby »

I seem to have developed an intermitent problem, when I try to start the bus it just clicks. this might happen 1,2 or 3 times and then it starts perfectly. is this a bad conection or could it be the starter on it's way out?

clean the switch wire onto the starter. (the small wire with a spade connector.) Clean any earth connections and also check the battery connection onto the starter. would have though that it is a bad connection more than starter fault. good luck.

yep, give the connectors a clean at the starter end.

I had the same problem and found that the earth connector was shot, so I cut the old one off and replaced the connector..
