For 25-40 quid you can get a complete alarm system off flea-bay that gives you alarm, immobilizer and control your keyless entry with 2 key fobs.

Phil picked one up for me and helped install it at Vanfest. We don't have keyless entry yet, but Phil said he'd help me install it too.

I'm sure others here can help with which cheap alarms are good.

I've done this on my velle.
You need a module to interface whatever remote control receiver you use to the CL system.
The module above will certainly lock the van, but may not unlock it.
I cant remember where a got my interface from, I'll give it some thought.

This is the module I used between my alarm and the CL.
http://cpc.farnell.com/jsp/Car,+Leisure ... u=SR-SR911

It has a one wire input, I seem to remember my alarm gives a short pulse when arming and a similar pulse when dis arming.

Why re-invent the wheel here? Use a remote system that's designed for keyless entry on existing electric door locks.
Something like this that's designed to interface with central locking. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-CAR-ALARM-SYS ... dZViewItem
This seller has several different systems. Just use the central locking if that's all you want. Maybe drop Phil a pm asking which one works on factory central locking system. I'll check mine as he said it works on factory or aftermarket central locking. ......

Mine is a LF-Q025A Car Alarm. No more info on owner's manual. Sorry.
