Where was everyone?
top day had by MG, Dave Pickles & me.
Was not sure how much fun it would be cooped up in a wood with a bunch of Landrover owners, but with a few exceptions they were a good bunch and it was a really good fun day's playing. Now the work starts in cleaning off the mud!
Pics of two syncros amongst gazillions of Landys, many were staggered by where we could go that 110s couldn't, as well as some 90s.
Here's a few pics from the day:

Climbing out of one of the dips, quite steep but quite easy.
[img:640:480]http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g250/ ... MG0064.jpg[/img]
Comparing notes on where to go next.
[img:640:480]http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g250/ ... MG0078.jpg[/img]
Mike going for a swim - not sorted the air intake on the ScoobyVelle yet so it would be in the water at this depth so skipped it.
[img:480:640]http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g250/ ... MG0058.jpg[/img]
Crowd pulling climb, both syncros got up with ease.

90 Jousting, these two lined up at each end of the water and ran towards each otherswamping one another with their bow waves. Hilarious, esp as one left his window open!
[img:400:300]http://www.georgethebus.co.uk/images/st ... /pic16.jpg[/img]
This was one of the steepest descents, Mike's back wheels were skipping about as he headed down.
The next 2 are from inside - at the top and then a quick shot as we bounced down the hill towards the water.

That does look a good day out there
Some of those piccies now qualify for the 2009 calendar competition, having just missed the voting for this one!
Happy New Year to you All
Time you came down this way, so with that in mind, we are aiming to show you some old flatland tracks this year...Herts Essex Cambs have their attractions - honest
Paul... snorkel sorting required, on the wrong day we might have to drive nearly 1km in foot and a half water!

Had a great day out at Parkwood Pay and Play
With Paul and Mike
in there Caravelle and Doka Tristar
Many thanks to Mike for giving me and the family a ride a round in the Tristar. As my Doka is still in 2wd mode only and it was far too muddy for mine. Must get that new VC bought.
Kev H was supposed to be coming but didn't (work commitments perhaps)
I will definately be going again.
Lots to do
Would be great to see more VW Syncro's there next time
