Somewhere on Brick-Yard there is a list of all the VW paint colours & numbers etc so you could try there. :)

This was discuussed before. Baxter reckoned there is no VW to RAL equivalents, just some close matches. VW paint codes are just that, VW codes, and don`t match with standard stuff.
Keep it real.

Hi

I posted the last time trying to find my white L90D.

http://archive.club8090.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=23125

What I found out was RAL is exclusively involved in the definition and standardisation of colour shades. It doesn't develop or create colours it only defines colours currently in use. There are a few VW colours which have been defined by RAL. http://www.ral.de/

What I had to do was go down to my local auto paint guy and match the colour by eye. He had some neat cards that let me get a good match.

The paint I had didn't have a RAL code so I had to go for a BS code. http://www.combicolor.co.uk/ will match any BS or RAL colour.

Hope this helps

What was the BS code you used for L90D ? Have you got the Combicolour yet ? How close is it ?

Hi Andy

I didn't like the Pastle White mix, can get you the code but it will be the 3rd before I see the guy again.

What we did was match the paint by eye. It is a good match to the VW Pastle White, I know the guy who mixed my paint scribled some notes down.

I have only painted the rear quater. We matched the paint from my mates T2. Wish I had a photo of them side by side the phots don't show close it is.

Take a piece of what you wish to match .... in our case the panel I cut out to put the 240 hook-up socket in, they'll scan and match it (within reason)

How about the number plate hatch ? Bit smaller than a door
