i spoke to russel about this a while ago. apparently you need to press the front hubs apart, knackering the wheelbearings and seals in the process, then reassemble with new parts.
I want to fit ML 16" alloys, but due to the offset and width I think I will need 25mm of spacing, so I will probably go the bolt on route...

well i`m not sure how wide the porche spacers i have are i`d guess about 25mm but the bolts are std you may be able to run them narrower if we were to cut the bolt head down as i`ve seen a kit with this done somewhere.
saying that it might work out cheaper to just do the bearings and studs.
what size / type tyres are you thinking of running.
lee.

IMHO don't cut bolt head down. Bolt head thickness is part of strength designed into bolt. Thinner is weaker, and the load when using spacers is on bolt head...lee.. wrote:well i`m not sure how wide the porche spacers i have are i`d guess about 25mm but the bolts are std you may be able to run them narrower if we were to cut the bolt head down as i`ve seen a kit with this done somewhere.
