Seized clutch

Clutch seized... bits of clutch plate in the flywheel.

Clutch fixed by mechanic.

So.... is the disintegrating clutch something to worry about in isolation or is it likely to be indicative of a bigger problem, or to have damaged something else as it malfunctioned?

Wouldn't worry about it, sounds like a one off thing and shouldnt have damaged anything as there is really nothing to damage in that area. Happy driving!
