Torroidal Lpg tank under front?

Post by amazingdave »

Hiya,

My new 14" syncro arrives today and its a petrol guzzler. I was wondering if I can fit one of the torroidal Lpg tanks where the spare wheel is currently residing?

I want to avoid an internal tank if at all possible, unless there is a tank that fits into a westy interior nicely without robbing too much storage space...

I'd make up a spare wheel carrier for the back if this is a possibillity....

I'd be very wary of putting an LPG tank under a syncro. I know that my bashplate on the underside of my van in the place where your spare wheel lives has taken a fair few bashes in its time. I wouldnt want to be bashing a gas tank like that!
