luckily I haven't been caught out on the maintenance side of things as yet (fingers and toes crossed), it's the cash to swing into action with all the future plans that I'm having problems with....

current dilema: move house OR revamp syncro..??

I'm finding there's no middle ground with this one, the syncro might just be edging it!
You only need two tools in life - WD-40 and Duct Tape; If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

"Syncroholicism", "Theravingmusthaves", Oddballoffroad additction"

I have resisted all temptation to buy parts I dont need until I get the welding sorted and get it registered.. and the dry run with the Audi registration has thrown up several points to avoid!!!
I have even resisted the temptation of a second syncro (single cab) I have had offered at a very very good price..

But I can see it all going "Visa" shaped once its on the road (or should that be off road)...

You will need to have stand-by pennies once you take it off road, thrashing an old vehicle off-road brings out the cash in you!
So save for now.
