flat spot/erratic idle (infuriating !!!)

flat spot at about 2.5k, tickover
troubles, hunting (boucing up and down
by about .2k.)

servo pipe is fine.

otherwise pulls okay.

standard 1.9 DG.

DR HAYNES SUGGESTS -
air filter clogged
vacuum leak
spark plugs and leads
carb idle
cut off valve
camshaft lobes worn
fuel injection fault
poss fuel filter/ignition timing

all the usual suspects -
worth going through list?
