BIG BACK BUMPER FILLETS - INFO PLEASE!

Post by cruiseyboy »

HI FOLKS, I RECENTLY PURCHASED A CARAT STYLE BACK BUMPER AND ALSO BOUGHT THE "FILLETS" TO 'FILL' THE GAP BETWEEN THE BUMPER AND THE VAN.... HAS ANYONE GOT THESE ON THEIR VAN? BASICALLY MY VAN IS BEING RE-SPRAYED SOON ALONG WITH BUMPERS ETC AND I NEED TO KNOW HOW/WHERE THE FILLETS ARE FITTED SO THAT THE BODY SHOP CAN DRILL THE HOLES BEFORE SPRAYING. MANY THANKS IN ANTICIPATION OF SOME HELP (OR PREFERABLY SOME PICS). AL

These are riveted on but I couldn't tell you exactly where. I would suggest that you would have to offer the bumper up to the van - on ours they sit fairly tight against the upper internal surface of the bumper. I will try and post a pic (its dark now so maybe tomorrow)
