taking the pi$$...

Post by T'Onion »

ok i filled up t'other day at the BP station on bramall road sheffield 0.54.9 ppl which i do believe is the most expensive in sheffield at the mo ... so yesterday i had a wee trip to JTF at catcliffe and filled up at the morrisons just opposite and low and behold it was 44.9 ppl ... so i gets into thinking about going out of my way everytime i need to fill up .. so i checked the mileage on tomtom and it works out about 5 miles more to fill up at catcliffe .. so guess i'll be filling up there all the time now ... oh its it just off the M1 so if ya passing grab some

try looking on here, sometimes you can save quite a bit for the sake of a couple of miles, and sometimes in places you wouldnt think of going.

We were paying 45.9ppl at Morrisons last week, a couple of weeks earlier it was 42.9ppl. Been again tonight and it was 49.9ppl!!! Came home and started checking the local prices on the Go-Autogas website but they're too out of date to be any use!

I took a slightly different route during one of my regular journeys the other day and it took me past a garage (I think it's a Gulf one) that had banners on the fence advertising Autogas at 39.9ppl. I just assumed that they were old banners with an out-of-date price. Have been in today though and checked the price on the pump and it is 39.9p!!!! I was well chuffed! The pump etc looks like a fairly new installation, round the side of the building, with the tank above ground and it's well away from all the other pumps. It'll be interesting to see how long this price lasts for!
