Fitting r'n'r bed & belts in '83 panel van

Post by cozmik »

Anyone got any hints or tips regarding fitting the above? Full width r'n'r bed, 2 three-points and a middle lap belt into Transporter panel van. I don't want to bodge it as the kids will be sitting back there.

Thanks in advance.

coz,

tansporter or caravelle? will make a difference, as the velle has ready made mounting points, the panel vans don't, and you will have to get some put in. Got lap belts on our 3/4 bed - 4 mounting points on the sloping bulkhead....got welder to fit them properly. (there are flat faces to fit mounting plates too)

Let folks know what you have got, and they will help. Also, do a search for rear seat belts or anchor points - its been discussed many times before!!
