No need to run away and hide.......
We'll find you wherever you go........,
Battery depends on wether you have a petrol or diesle engine.
There is not a lot to choose between battery brands, but each battery will have a code number telling you how much power it stores.
I dont know off the top of my head which code is on the batterys (someone will add that info shortly) A search on here might reveal the answer.
I take it you are jump starting the van? Cutting out could be a separate issue. Check all the engine earths and battery leads are clean and tight.

I'll check the code when i get home shortly.
No its starts ok but wont run for long without cutting out, normally at junctions and roundabouts. The radio is connected to it and normally turns on without the ignition being on and it now wont come on without the engine on and cuts off when engine cuts out at junctions.
wheres the best place to buy batterys?

If the van starts OK, then I doubt your battery is in need of replacement.
Perhaps someone else has come across this behavior?
I'll study my wiring diagrams when I'm home from work.
Does the engine idle OK after starting? Is the choke coming off early?
Do you have a leisure battery? Disconnect it then try starting the van?
Do your side lights, headlights, indicators, hazard lights work as expected?
Sorry for the list, but this is slightly weird.
