warm gearbox and gear change probs

does anyone know why changing gear gets worse when the gearbox/van has warmed, tends to get stuck not good!!. Any one suggest a check list of things I could do to try to aleviate the problem

lack of oil... check and top up
spigot bearing in end of crank failed and causing frction on input shaft..
Clutch dragging???

worn or poorly adjusted linkages useually are bad all the time...

an actual fault with the box... speak to Aidan, he is the resident gearbox expert..
