Lowered springs standard shocks

Post by soulstealer »

Hi all

Can lowered springs (60mm) be run with standard shocks. If so what effetc will this have on the ride quality. I really want to get my bus lower but can't run to the cost of shocks and springs at the mo. Any advice would be a great help cheers in advance

if you cant afford them at the mo i would say hang on till you can no piont doing a job twice plus i think the ride would be horrible on standard shocks!

what quality!
ride would be harsh and steering heavy

patience mate...

why 60mm?
have you seen a van at 45mm drop..they look great and no mods to the wheel arches and stops
and with the right shock retain that VW ride

your choice though :D

Totally agree!

I did this because i coldn't afford new shox either, cut a couple of 'ribs' off the bumpstops, this helps matters.

I didn't know how bad mine was until i got shorter shox, you can live with it but it's not ideal.
