Front Wishbone Upper Ball Joint Syncro

Post by Iamsyncrodude »

Hi

I have just discovered my Front Wishbone Upper Ball Joint has a split in the rubber, I assume this is an MOT failure , are they special for the syncro ?

the rubber being split is NOT an mot fail although they do like us to advise that they are split.

have seen somewhere that you can buy new boots in different colours, i think it was on a rally site.

you certainly cant buy new boots from the motor factors.

Yes but quality is poor, they don't last. I would only fit geniune whilst they are still available.

Are the ones made by Febi Bilstein are of quality, or would it be best to order through VW dealer?
