buzzing from front of van

Post by rubyvan »

Can anyone give me some advice I have recently changed the clutch and box, and you have to press the clutch pedal to the floor to change gear. The problem is that I am getting a buzzing sound from the front it sounds like it is comming from the clutch pedal. When you press the clutch slightly the noise goes away. Can anyone help
cheers

sounds an odd one. have you over adjusted the clutch?

thinking it could be the release bearing buzzing and it transfering up the cable.

try slacking off the cable and see if the noise goes.

just a guess.

Its probably just vibration from the engine causing the pedal to vibrate. Does the noise go away when you rev the engine up slightly?

search this forum....

I've a vague recollection that someone mentioned a buzzing noise from their clutch a year or so ago and couldn't work out where from.

They found out when the pedals all fell off :!:

Probably worth a good poke round the mountings and pivots for the pedals and see if anything is loose!
