soggy springs

hi i bought some secondhand springs a while ago to put my westy california back to standard height after havin some problems and clearance issues with it lowered! thing is it seems to be quite soft it sits high but rolls about a lot the guy i bought them off had a crew cab pick up are they different? :?

for a pick up i would expect them to be firmer they maybe have had a hard life carrying heavy loads and are now shot

IIRC.. the gen factory westies had a stiffer spring..... could be wrong though...

thanks lads i know the westys had a bit of a drop over standard not sure if they where stiffer tho :?

Westies just run normal everyday "Blue" front springs.

The rear springs are also maked blue, same as Caravelles and that.

Thats the general rule anyway, obviously there are exceptions.

I have "pooh" loads of them.
