Got a c reg 1.9 westy and live in scotland camped out at Aviemore over Christmas and it got to minus 12 which was fine with the eber on. The heater when driving does not get very hot in the front and not at all in back (my old t3 autosleeper was quite warm) the blower works fine but not much heat generated. Is it likely to be expensive to fix?
Can you use the eber when driving?
Is it worth getting an inverter to run a 240volt fan heater when driving?
Any suggestions?
Many thanks bob.

lol, I was about to post the exact same question!! Mine is the same (but 2.1).... with the heater temp dropping when you put the fan on. Also, the engine temp gauge needle never seems to rise above the "white blob" at the bottom. Is this the same on yours Bob?
I was thinking that perhaps my thermostat is faulty, and/or the cooling system fluid needed flushing/bleeding. Anyone?

thanks for the replies i wish i had known i could use my petrol eber on the run over christmas!
My temp gauge doe not get out of the white bit i.e. suggests engine is cold when i expect it to be hot - service just before christmas by synchronutz so all my coolant levels are correct - if i change thermostat is this likely to sort out temp guage and allow warm air through blower?
if so how much is it likely to cost to do?
cheers bob (hopefully getting warmer soon)
