Accelerator Cable probs.

Post by Willoughby »

Hi All

Just got some replacement parts for my accelerator. They are similar but not identical to the original.
I know this happens all the time but just wondered what the bit in the red circle is for as it is missing on the replacement.

Also does anybody know where to get an oringinal style clamp bolt because the JK replacement is a bit wobbily.

Missing parts ?????????

Kev,,,,,,,,Don't worry about the missing bit on the new quadrant (my guess it is some sort of height adjuster for the accelorator pedal).

The other bit you require (solder-less nipple) can be bought from any good hardwear store, motor factors or push bike shop, don't forget to take the cable/quadrant with you to get the right one you want.
