Anyone know what the purpose of this screw is please?

It seemed to hold the carb internals in place on mine i think, namely the bowl. Could be wrong though!

looks like a spring loaded mixture screw to me
LT owner and positively rattling around with the new found space

It holds the venturi in place.

So it definetely want to be done up tight then! Boith are lose so I guess that wont help with the running.
