Hi Folks,
I purchased a 1990 T25 Autohomes Komet at the weekend & have a few questions.
1) I am looking at buying a bike rack (Fiamma) but the Komet comes with a rear ladder. Does anyone know if the bike rack fits?
2) Also looking for a sun awning, again possibly a Fiamma, does anyone know what the best width should be + I would also like a version that does not involve drilling the fibreglass roof.
3) The previous owner said it came with a factory Cobra alarm, however I am unable to find the alarm, or get it to work, even after changing the battery in the key fob.
Thanks in advance for any help

Hi Lee,
1) The fiamma bike rack does fit. Though it is every so slightly off centre.
2) We have a fiamma caravanstore sun awning that is a great piece of kit. It is 3.1 m long. It needs to be threaded onto an awning rail that was already fitted (screwed to) the high top when we bought our bus. I appreciate that this is not what you're after, but we have a matching awning rail on the other side and now we can attach our Khyam to the sliding door side when doing long trips and still eat out alfresco under some shade on the other side.
3) Sorry no idea about your alarm.
Hope this helps

Hello Komet owning newbies. What an excellent choice in van you have made. I am however, very biased!!!
Our alarm didn't work so we fitted another, No idea what was going on with it. And if I had the readies I'd be going for a fiamma f45i or an omnister pull out awning. Great for over nighters.
In the Summer we use a khyam motordome driveaway. Pictures in the garage.
Have fun with your new vans.

Thanks for the responces.
Ended up with an Omnistor 2000 pull-out awning (£99 buy it now off ebay) & the Fiamma bike rack.
Think you were right about the alarms stickers, as even the garage could not find it during Mot.
On the plus side she just sailed through the Mot (I think this is the first motor I have ever had that didnt even get warning/failure sheet)
All I need to do now is understand how the Zig unit works
