Have just failed MOT on "corroded brake pipe front to rear".
I think it is a steel one.
Where can I get a replacement? Can I replace it with copper?
Is it a difficult job, or should I bite the bullet and stick it in a garage. I realise that getting the drums off to bleed the system is usually a pig of a job.

You should be able to get one made up by a motor factors - if you can get it off in one piece. Have you checked the Search function on this website using "brake pipe"?

If you are confused or uncertain about what previous respondents are on about - then I can tell you that you have unfortunately shown yourself to be ignorant of the fact that the rear brake system is bled without removing the drums, or even the wheels actually. People are not trying to put you down as such - but just advising that brakes have to be done right for safety ....
