They're Panasonic Toughbooks CF 27 mostly with Pentium 266mmx processors - quite sought after for use with VAG-COM and navigation etc.
They have a magnesium case and the HDD is potted in a gel lined caddy - very robust!
Lloyd has offerd to send me a copy of W98 once he finds it!

Just went through every place I can think of. Can't find mine. I have a couple of people I'll be seeing for lunch who probably have it. Will let you know this afternoon... Or use hembo's.

maybe try linux? have a robust OS for a robust laptop :D probably run faster too.

If you've got at least 66mb of ram, you can load XP on a toughbook CF-27. I've sold dozens of them. :wink:
