You all should have had an email detailing the Annual General Meeting of the Syncronauts, on-line, in our own forum here, this Thursday evening ...

The Syncronaut's Committee and AGM is a requirement of our constitution and our affiliation the the MSA, the RAC's Motorsport body...

If you want a say, want to vote for commitee members, then be around Thursday evening...

Marcus you need register on the new forum - you can't automatically use your 80-90 login as the forums aren't linked. Voting is open until tomorrow evening, so please register and we will activate your user name.

To be fair Marcus, it's kinda busy in there and I am as guilty as anyone else of being drawn into it, and engrosed by it.
Someone has just flagged up you can't get in and they are looking at why, i would suggest sending a message to Clive or Jenny.

Dear member

In order to participate in the AGM you need to register on this specially set up forum.

Follow the link and register it's just like club80-90 in look and feel.

If you could use the same log on name as you do on Club80-90 it would make administration a little easier, thanks. Some of you will have registered on this forum last year, but if you have lost your login details please contact: agm_logins@club80-90syncro.co.uk

There are already some bits to read and more will be posted leading up to Thursday evening so you can have a think about what you want to say, ask, vote for etc...

It would help me and the smooth flow of the whole thing if you register sooner rather than all at the last minute.

Dear Syncronaut,

As Secretary for the Syncronauts so it falls to me to notify you as a member of the date and time for the club Annual General Meeting

This meeting will be held online between 19:30-21:30 on October 25th 2007.

The current committee will resign and a new committee will be elected.

If you wish, please forward nominations for new club officers to me, at this email address nominate@club80-90syncro.co.uk

Officers to be nominated are as follows:

Secretary
Treasurer

PLUS
Committee Members - EIGHT

The Club's constitution currently state that we have a committee minimum of eight, so that is what the committee are seeking to elect at the AGM. The Committee elects its own chair from its members.

If you would like to be part of the committee or know of another member who you would like to see on the committee then ask a fellow member to nominate you and check that the person you are nominating is happy to be put forward.
I would ask that you make it clear if any nomination is made for the Secretary or Treasurer's position or for that of committee member or for consideration all, and would ask that members keep their nominations to a maximum of eight .
Any further items for the agenda may be put to me by return mail.

PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOUR NOMINATIONS ARE RETURNED TO ME BY 23:59 ON October 21st 2007.

TO VOTE YOU WILL NEED TO BE PRESENT AT THE ONLINE MEETING ON OCTOBER 25TH 2007.

AGENDA FOR AGM

1. Apologies for absence
2. Chairman's report
3. Approval of accounts
4. To receive nominations for officers and committee (these will have been received 4 days in advance of the meeting)
5. Election of officers
6. Election of committee members
7. To vote on the following resolutions:
a. That the AGM should take place in October
b. That syncro owners do not need to be Club80-90 members
8. Future events
9. AOB

Subsequently the new committee will then elect its own Chairman and Vice Chairman.

The URL (web link) and details for logging in and a list of nominations and a more detailed agenda will be emailed to you by midnight 22nd October.

you were sent both, you could have chosen to contact Clive,Jenny or myself about access problems, it would have been sorted straight away.
