I was all set to give you some directions to the sleepy spot near Bamburgh Castle until I read your post again and realised that it was site info you were after! The only site we've used up that way was at Berwick, I think it was this one:

http://www.ordhouse.co.uk/

It was a nice enough site, good facilities but not too big. I would avoid Haggerston Castle Holiday Park though! I'll ask at work, iirc another T25 owner stayed on a site up that way (probably a Camping and Caravan Club site) during the summer.

I'd go for the sleepy spots though . . . loads more atmosphere!

Tony :)

T'Onion there is a small C&C club site at Beadnell just a couple of miles from Bamburgh, lovely little site and cheap too, if you do want Wooler there are 2 sites, Highburn House and Riverside Park, bit too commercial for my liking,

Hi mate

Used to live in Wooler, try Bridge caravan park as you come into Wooler from the south. Pretty commercial, club, shop etc, think it was taken over by one of the chains a while back. At the other end of the town there is Burnhouse Farm, not many amenities but nice spot in walking distance of the town, plenty of pubs on the High Street!
Shouldnt have a prob finding a site, lots of farms cater for camping, nice one in Belford but cant remember name.
Hope you have a good time
