Brake light switch

Post by ozzy »

Had the brake light switch go a few months ago and had it replaced by a garage. Few days later it went again. Had it replaced and its been fine for a while but has gone again.
If there was a fault causing this switch to stop working i would have thought that the fuse would have gone first?????.
Anyone had the same problem could it be that its a faulty batch of switches?

In 2 and a half years I have changed one switch.
Make of that what you will.

The bloke at volkstop said that in all his time hes only fitted a few seems to me like a crap make of switch if i bridge across the connector the lights come on so there cant be a fault in the wiring because the fuse would then blow....i think
Hes going to be well pleased when i call him tomoz last time he was a little miffed :)
