Should i leave them till next year (risk of getting worse i no but is time or year bad now to late etc...) or should i treat on a dry day ( if we get one!
If it is to treat... do i just rub down with wet/dry(do people still use wire brushes!) (or can anyone reccomend anything else) to get rust of then treat with rust protecter for the winter ( also again any reccomendations) then am i best painting on top or just leaving with rust proctecter? next year aming to paint whole bus you see!

If the rust patches are on the seams then you need to thoroughly dry them out before you start treating rust. Its no use trapping moisture under your nice new sealant and paint.
Been said numerous times on here but use Vactan rust treatment. It leaves a thin waterproof film afterwards and I've got that on bits of bare steel well over a year later and its treated and sealed. Its used by the miltary, narrow boat owners, all sorts. Its the biz. Easy found on Ebay or Google for it.

Ok.. maybe it is.. (never tried it) but a cheap easy to get (local diy shop) solution was suggested.. it works pretty well.. especially when its going to get ground off in the spring/summer... the Vactan is for when you want to do it properly in the spring/summer..
