Money no object....
one of the Unicat ones with a Pinz on a trailer behind....

C303, bit small for camping..
404 radio vans.. box very heavy and cramped, dump the box and biuld a proper lighter one..
Pinz 6x6... prob nearly the right balance of size and space...... for 2......

Did anyone spot the blue Range Rover pop top on the way back from Cromer, heading toward Kings Lynn, at the weekend, about 10 miles from the site in a garage forecourt with a load of other old Range Rovers, was going to stop but was in a long line of traffic,

have had 2 mog 404's great off road,but slow,expensive to run and very hot to drive,have had volvo laplander,just way too small and still petrol,got close to the perfect base vehicle with a RB44,great perkins fazer turbo motor,lockers,900-16 tyres,2 speed transfer case and cheap,trying a LT 4x4 at present see how it goes cj. i doo fancy a ozzy OKA though.

If you have to choose one of these three, think about spares... I think Mercedes is Mercedes... but yeah a bit expensive... petrol, low mpg...

Nearly bought a 404 fire truck instead of the syncro... would have been great... I still realy want one... Yeah I know.. slow and costly to run....

wouldnt have been able to do the stuff in it that the syncro has though!!!! 35k km. in 1 year.. serious pain in a 404

I agree with CJ having owned a couple of RB44's, here's the last one I had...

I also had a Bedford MK with an Atlas crane- gotta be the ultimate expedition camper and you can use the crane to lift the living box on and off.

I really love Syncro's now though, much easier to park at Tesco
