Gear linkage issues

Post by Bendyknees »

Was comin home from the matchmaking festival yesterday when i lost 1st and 2nd gears  Nursed the van home and rolled under it. The problem seems to be at the gearbox end where the nylon ball engages into a cup thingy :) You can see the wear in it, and when i padded it out a bit it seemed to work ok. Are these still available new? or does some1 have a good 2nd hand 1? need to get it sorted as round here is full of big hills and the 1.6 non turbo struggles at the best of time.

Coolio :D The ball is fine its actually the cup that has the wear in it. I did have another cup but its off a petrol box and it is about 10mm shorter than the desiel 1. If urs is a desiel 1 i will take it. Send me ya details and i will get sum cash sent to ya.
