will it fit??

Post by winston »

Has anybody fitted a westfalia pop top to an autohomes kamper '89 before or anything similar?? Was it doable? Or was it a nightmare? :run Ours has had a high top put on and want to put back a pop top as not enough space for our eldest to sleep. Any advice?

Westy vans had a unique roof pressing to accomodate the pop-tops. The roof metalwork was a flat pressing so the top bed sits flat. People have cobbled up various things to try and make a flat bed on a normal curved roof van body, but it ain`t ever going to be right.

Westfalia did a Mosaik Joker towards the end, that used a factory made curved-to-flat roof piece for standard type van bodies, but it looks a bit of a lash-up in the pics I`ve seen :?
Keep it real.
