fitting windows in to a panel van??
hi everyone i have a 1991 panel van and wish to put windows in it, i managed to find some genuine windows from a caravelle, both with good rubbers, but i am un sure how to go about fitting them as from the inside it looks like the inner skin is made to take the glass, however the outer skin wont, i am sure there is a way around it, and im sure plenty of you ave done it, but how its done is my burning question, so any help will be greatfully recieved, and pictures would be a god send,

The Caravelle window rubbers are designed to fit into the specially shaped (ie recessed) caravelle body panels, not into the 'flat' van panels. I looked at the possibility of using Caravelle windows but evetually went for aftermarket ones designed to be cut into a van. (Leisure Vehicle Windows of Corby)
Others have had the Caravelle panels welded into the van but thats expensive! You might get away with your windows if you use normal rubbers to mount them instead of the Caravelle ones.
