Is the horn ring on a velle steering wheel different to a normal one ?

i doubt it.as the wheels are interchangeable.

Well I ditched my takky plastic van wheel for a nice soft PAS Caravelle wheel; went streight on, the indicators still cansel (not sure thats a good thing, I find it anoying) and the horn still works (now being at my fingertips too) - so they are simular enough as far as I'm conserned!

well i can now say that they are different , the one off a standard steering wheel wont fit a caravelle one , the locating lug is slighty off set on the velle one ,
, anyone know the vag number for a velle ring ?

I have a plastic on the velle no probs is this the ring on the bottom of the wheel or is this a different part in the colum I have a veele wheel here in my hand and the brass ring looks pretty integral to the wheel. any way the wheel pn is 255 419 651

Mark, swapped the fuc ... erm
... kernackered ring off our velle wheel for one off't the skinny wheel so .. therefore the same. HURRAH !!

its the brass/cheese part of the ring thats frelled , I've tried putting the one out of a skinny original wheel but the lug wont locate ...
